I love creating something new by using things I already have. Changing around bits and pieces can make a huge impact of the look and feel of a room, like we do for Christmas, it`s even funnier for summer. The light gives you a kick at this time of year, and somehow it`s just lovely to "overdo" flowers, pattern and colours for a while. When you get tired of it, it`s okey to move everything back. Grab your best china, a mug or a huge pot for a oversized wild flower decoration. I use a lot of weed and wild flowers I find along streets or in the commons, mixing it with roses or what else I can find in my backyard. I bring out out linen bedspreads from cupboards, arrange my most colourful cushions in a new mix, and try to create something between summer -cottage- bohemian beach hut and French Village stone house look(!) Whatever, It works! it makes a nice change, embraces the light and I can enjoy a fresh mini- renewal.
